Avocukiyom Inverter Generator
A mid-size inverter generator with the output to carry more of a home through an outage — a fridge-freezer, the boiler, lights and electronics — still on clean inverter power and still reasonably quiet. A stronger four-stroke engine with parallel capability to pair with a second unit; run outdoors only, well away from the house, and connected to the home only through a transfer switch by a qualified electrician. The practical home-backup inverter.
- Type: mid-size inverter generator
- Build: clean inverter power, parallel-capable, stronger engine
- Safety: outdoors only; to the house only via a transfer switch by an electrician
A fuel-burning generator gives off carbon monoxide, a poison you cannot see or smell: never run a generator indoors, in a garage, a carport or any enclosed or partly enclosed space, and never near open windows, doors or air vents — run it outdoors, well away from the house, with the exhaust pointed away. Never connect a generator to your home wiring through a wall socket (back-feeding) — it can kill you or a line worker; a generator is connected to the house only through a proper transfer switch installed by a qualified electrician, and a fixed standby generator is installed by a qualified electrician (and, for a gas model, a competent gas engineer). Handle and store fuel safely, let the exhaust cool before refuelling, keep the generator dry and do not overload it. Read the manual. CE marked where applicable. The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to consumers.
